So, this is getting strange. I had someone ping me for advice about doing an Internet start-up thinking I was another Michael Bauer - Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Foundation Capital as profiled in this New York Times article. When I first read that article, I was surprised to see my name in the Times. I was even more surprised to read that Michael Bauer’s profile - we could practically trade places and we wouldn’t even need to get new id. Now I got this email from someone who thought I was him and I was like, no, but, strangely enough, I could probably help you anyway. Very strange. Sent an email to Foundation Capital. We’ll see if I get a reply.
